What is DentSheet?
DentSheet, also written as Dent Sheet, is web-based hail inspection and estimating software for paintless dent repair (PDR) shops. It brings vehicle details, panel dent counts, photos, rate matrices, and estimate documents together in one claim.
How does DentSheet calculate hail damage severity?
An estimator enters the dent count for each vehicle panel. DentSheet derives the severity band from that count and calculates the matrix using the claim’s pinned rate table. The estimator records and reviews the damage; there is no manual severity dropdown.
Does DentSheet support SGI PDR estimating?
DentSheet was developed around the SGI PDR matrix with repair shops in Regina, Saskatchewan. Each claim keeps the rate table version assigned at intake, so later rate edits do not change that claim’s estimate. The estimator remains responsible for reviewing the estimate before submission.
